Wodle is committed to privacy and follows the core principles of the EU GDPR—such as transparency, fairness, purpose limitation, and secure data handling even though we are not legally required to maintain full GDPR compliance.

• Company / We / Us / Our: Refers to Wodle, a Sri Lanka–registered software service operated by founders based in Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
• Customer: Any person or entity registering to use the Service.
• Device: Any device capable of accessing Wodle.
• Personal Data: Information that identifies or relates to an identifiable person.
• Service: The Wodle SaaS platform.
• Third-Party Service: External providers supporting Wodle's operations.

3.1 Personal Data You Provide

• Name

• Form content & templates created within Wodle
• Uploaded files collected through forms
• Support inquiries and communications

3.2 Usage Data

Automatic data including:

• IP address
• Browser type/version
• Device info
• Interaction logs
• Performance & diagnostic data

3.3 Approximate Location Data

We infer approximate location via IP address. No GPS data is collected.

3.4 Cookies & Tracking

We use essential, security, and analytics cookies to operate and improve the Service.

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

3.5 AI-Related Data

Includes text submitted to AI tools, metadata, and usage behavior. We do not train external AI models using private form data.

3.6 Payments

Payments are only related to service subscriptions and processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store card details.

Provide & maintain the Service - We use your information to operate Wodle, create your account, keep core features working, and ensure the platform performs as expected.

Host forms & submissions - We use your data to store, process, and deliver the forms you build, including handling responses, analytics, and related form activity.

Improve performance & user experience - We analyze how users interact with Wodle to understand what works, what needs improvement, and how we can make the platform smoother and faster.

Enhance security - We use personal information to detect fraud, prevent unauthorized access, secure user accounts, and protect the platform against misuse.

Respond to support inquiries - When you contact us (email, support form, etc.), we use your information to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide help.

Send administrative updates - We may send important service-related notifications such as password reset emails, account verification messages, payment or subscription notices, system updates, outage announcements, or other essential communications that affect your ability to use your account. These updates are required for operating and securing your Wodle account and cannot be opted out of.

Send optional product updates - With your consent, we may send release notes, new feature updates, and helpful tips about using Wodle. (Users can opt-out anytime.)

We do not sell personal data.

Account data is stored while active.

Form data stays until deleted by the creator.

Logs are retained for shorter periods unless required for security or compliance.

When you use Wodle, your data may be stored or processed in countries outside your own. Some of these countries may not have the same privacy laws you're used to. To make sure your information stays protected, we use something called Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

SCCs are official agreements approved by the European Union that require companies like Wodle and our service providers to protect your personal information to EU-level standards, even if the data is processed somewhere else.

In simple terms:

• Your data gets the same protection no matter where it goes.
• Our service providers must follow strict privacy and security rules.
• Your privacy rights continue to apply, even if your data is stored internationally.
• Your information can only be used for the purposes we clearly tell you about.
• If a government requests access to data, our providers must notify us when allowed by law.

Wodle uses industry-standard safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to ensure GDPR-aligned protection for personal data transferred internationally.

We use access controls, monitoring, and other safeguards.

Wodle is not intended for children under 13 years old (or 16 years old where required by EU law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

However, minors may use Wodle only under strict conditions, consistent with our Terms & Conditions:

• A parent, legal guardian, or authorized educator must provide explicit consent.
• The minor's use must be solely for educational, academic, or supervised learning purposes (such as school projects, classroom assignments, or surveys).
• The supervising adult is fully responsible for the minor's activity, data collection practices, and compliance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms.
• Minors may not use Wodle to run a business, collect payments, sell products or services, or collect sensitive or personal information from respondents.
• Wodle does not knowingly permit unsupervised minors to create accounts or use the Service for commercial or independent purposes.

If we learn that a minor is using Wodle without proper supervision or lawful consent, we will take steps to delete the account and associated data.
