Share forms with QR codes, themes, and social links

Publish a Wodle form, then share a themed link, QR code, or social post without hunting for the URL afterward.

A published form only works if people can open it. Sharing should not mean digging around for the right URL.

That is what the share flow is for. Pick how the form should look, copy a link, grab a QR, or post to the channels you already use.

Link vs embed

Use a share link (and QR) for social posts, email, chat, print, and events.

Use an embed when the form should sit on your own site. That path is covered in How to embed a Wodle form.

After you publish

  1. Open a template, finish the form, and publish (from the editor or Drafts).
  2. You land on Your form is now live with share tools already open.
  3. Or open Share anytime from the form card on Home or the dashboard.
  4. Choose a theme for recipients if you need a fixed look.
  5. Copy the link, download a QR, or post to a social channel.
  6. Send a test open from a phone or another browser.

If you publish a draft from Drafts, that can also complete the Get Started "Publish your form" step.

Theme on the shared link

Recipients can follow your system preference, or you can force Light or Dark. That choice is baked into the URL (?theme=light or ?theme=dark) so the link you copy, QR you print, and social post you send all match.

Handy when a poster or email sits on a light background and you do not want the form flipping with the reader's OS setting.

QR codes

From the share dialog:

  • View a QR for the current (themed) link
  • Download a PNG for print, slides, or packaging
  • Share the image via your device's share sheet when available

Good for tables, events, storefronts, and anywhere typing a URL is awkward.

Social and more

Post from the dialog to Email, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or Facebook. Prefer the OS share sheet? Use More when your device supports it.

Small tips

  • Publish first, then share. Drafts are not a public link people can fill.
  • Match theme to the channel (dark for night events, light for printed flyers).
  • Prefer embed on your marketing site. Prefer link and QR everywhere else.
  • After traffic starts, check submissions and analytics in Wodle.
