What's actually on Free (and what fair use means)

A plain look at Wodle Free. Unlimited forms and submissions, embeds, customization, and where fair use kicks in.

We get asked this a lot: is Free actually usable, or is it a teaser?

Short answer. Free is meant for real projects. You can publish forms, collect responses, and embed them without paying us to host the form itself.

What you get on Free

  • Unlimited forms. Make as many as you need.
  • Unlimited submissions. No hard monthly response cap on Free.
  • Layout, mobile, and theme controls.
  • Conditional logic, validation, and calculations.
  • Form embeds for your own site.
  • Analytics and export.
  • A small monthly pool of AI form and theme credits so you can try those tools.

Full side by side with Pro is on the pricing page.

Fair use, in normal words

"Unlimited" is not a blank check for bots or anything that hurts other users. Free sits under our Fair Use Policy. Most people never notice it.

If you are pushing heavy automation, webhooks, or a lot of file storage, you will be happier on Pro. That is what it is for.

When Pro makes sense

Upgrade when you need things like:

  • Email notifications and webhooks
  • Custom success actions (redirect, button)
  • More upload storage (5GB on Pro)
  • Higher AI limits
  • Unlimited saved themes

If you want to try it

  2. Grab a template or start blank
  3. Peek at the FAQ if something is unclear

Wodle is for forms that show information and collect answers. It is not a website builder. If that is what you need, Free is a solid place to begin.
